Andrew Denne: 13 Months old

Andrew is 13 Months old today. Since I missed his 12 month update here is a thirteen month update. What is he up to?

Andrew has finally in the last few days decided that it is safe to come down the steps between the dinning area and lounge.

Also in the last week he has started walking around the furniture a lot more. He has tried to stand on his own but that only last a few seconds. He loves to crawl through things.

He loves to play outside and will escape outside the ranch slider whenever mum leaves it open. His other trick with the ranch slider is to play with the bolt at the bottom of the ranch slider. He has locked mummy out. Fortunately the front door was unlocked otherwise mummy would have had to climb in Andrew's window.

He has one big sleep (2-3 hours normally) in the early afternoon. He sleeps from about 7pm to 6am at night.

Mummy is in the process of weaning Andrew. He is presently only having breastmilk first thing and last thing at night.

At times he is quite a chatterbox, we would like to know who has taught him Russian as we would like some translation. He still likes to play the what sound does the ... make? Especially what sound does the racing car make? Brr um and what does the girl on the bus go? giggle giggle.
